What ThinkTask is

ThinkTask is a project management and social media publishing platform for digital marketing agencies. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled — including data we receive from Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and Google.

Information we collect

Account information (name, email, phone number, role) provided when you or your workspace admin creates an account. Work data your team enters: clients, projects, tasks, files, comments, schedules, and reports. Usage data needed to operate the product, such as sign-in timestamps and notification preferences.

Social media platform data (Meta)

When you connect an Instagram professional account or Facebook Page, we receive an access token and basic profile information (account ID, username, name, profile picture) from Meta. We use this data for exactly one purpose: publishing the content your team creates and approves, at the times you schedule, to the accounts you connected. We also read basic publishing status to confirm posts went live.

We do not read your inbox or messages, do not access follower lists, and do not sell or share platform data with anyone. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are deleted when you disconnect a channel. Our use of Meta platform data complies with the Meta Platform Terms.

Google user data (Calendar & Meet)

If you connect Google, we request only the scopes needed to create and manage meeting events and Google Meet links on your behalf, and to show your upcoming meetings inside ThinkTask. We do not use Google data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide these features.

ThinkTask's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke ThinkTask's access at any time from your Google Account permissions or by disconnecting Google inside ThinkTask.

Where data lives and who processes it

Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and served through Vercel. Depending on the features your workspace uses, data may also be processed by Meta (publishing), Google (calendar and meetings), Razorpay (billing), Resend (email), and the WhatsApp Business Platform (notifications). We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Retention and deletion

Workspace data is retained while your account is active. Disconnecting a social channel deletes its access token immediately. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see our data deletion instructions. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
